Rick is a Regional Director for Katerra with over 24 years of experience in the construction industry, spanning a wide array of multifamily construction types, including more than 3000 Type I units, over 2000 Type III/V units, and 2M square feet of commercial construction, as well as an extensive portfolio of historic renovation projects in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Before joining Katerra, Rick founded and was President of Felice Construction Services, LLC, where he focused on large-scale Type I construction with many prominent developers in the region. In addition, he previously served as Vice President of Operations for a leading local general contracting company. During his 16-year tenure there, Rick was an integral component to the company’s overall growth from $5M to $200M in annual revenue. He began his construction career in the field and has retained the critical operational knowledge learned there to lead the completion of successful multimillion-dollar construction projects.
At Katerra Rick provides executive leadership and is responsible for the growth of the entire Mid-Atlantic Region, overseeing all aspects of business development, preconstruction and construction. He utilizes his depth of experiences and deep-rooted understanding of the industry, particularly in the Mid-Atlantic market. Rick takes a creative, proactive approach to all stages of construction, placing emphasis on the added value created with a thorough and proper GC-led preconstruction effort. Rick graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Civil Engineering.
